...a Russian native and graduate of the prestigious Moscow Music College with a Bachelor's Degree in Violin and a Master's Degree in Choir Conducting, Katya worked as a choir conductor in private and public schools in Russia. In 1994 she moved to Alaska and became an American citizen. While living in Alaska she conducted Community College Choirs and taught private voice and music lessons. She moved to the Big Island in 2016 and in 2018 helped with the launch of the Kona Aloha Singers working as our first Artistic Director.
...Dale has played piano for as long as she can remember. She is active in the Aloha Theater musical productions and was most recently the Music Director for Mamma Mia!. She is the piano accompanist for the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity church choir and is a lifelong resident of the Big Island. Both Dale and her husband Ken are attorneys in Kona and they have three adult children who are pursuing their dreams.
